Welcome! Here at Osprey KIDS we want to make your time studying at home as interesting, productive and fun as possible. As a team, we share a passion for aviation and we want to use this opportunity to share some of that with you. We hope to inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts by offering activities for you and your children to enjoy together.
We will run occasional competitions with the winners put into a hat, for a prize draw with some exiting prizes to be announced – aviation based of course!
This week’s activity is brought to you by our Airports and Airspace Team. We spend a lot of our time visiting airports to discuss how they might make improvements to the way they operate their airport or the airspace around them. Some airports are wonderful, and some can be slightly confusing.

Key Stage 2
We need you to design, build
or draw a new airport
Did you know…
An aircraft takes off or lands every 37 seconds at
Chicago O’Hare’s International Airport
How many is that in 1 hour?
This week’s challenge is to design, build or draw a new airport.
Have a think about:
Where in the world is your airport?
How big is it?
Does it have any special features?
What sort of aircraft will fly to your airport?
Send us a picture of your airport when you are finished!
